He stared at the ground, concentrated on the man in front of him. He could tell he was feeling disappointed, but somewhat calm. Of course, he knew this because he had the power of mind reading. Kyle glanced at the mans file. According to the paper, he was 42 years old, and his name was Tentino Cager. He felt pity for him, having to be left on the surface. But for the powerless had to be left up there, for they would die soon anyway because of the plague, and they were even lucky to have survived this long. They just simply didn't have enough food for everyone. He was given the devastating job to bring the exiles up, because of his strength. It was really a tragic experience for him, though he had gotten used to not letting anyones feelings get in the way, for they would distract him from his duties. Suddenly a voice erupted from the dead silence. "I just want you to know, that I have seen a lot of different things in my lifetime, and I have a piece of advice for you. Slow down, enjoy what you have been given. Your powers are a blessing, use them wisely. But your true powers are within you. If you do that, all will be at peace with one another." Kyle actually appreciated the fact that when Tentino had known that he would be left alone to be taken by the nazis, he looked at it as an opportunity of hope for the next generation. He really liked that.
Once they arrived at the top, the brightness somewhat surprised him. Kyle took the man, and Tentino said his final goodbyes. After he had disappeared into the woods, something caught Kyle's eye. Deep within the forrest, he saw a tiny glimmer of something shiny. Of course, his curiosity got the best of him. He walked toward the crystal clear sparkle, and he finally saw what it was. A barbed wired fence. "Why would there be a fence in the middle of nowhere?" He thought to himself. "The only possible reason there would be because of the-" He was cut off. A whole group of Nazi troops walked straight by on the other side of the fence, as he just made it out of the way when he landed face first behind a bush. "Nazis." He thought to himself as he heard their booming calls. UP SOLDIERS! FOLLOW YOUR PACK LEADER! They proceeded forward. Once he was sure they had all cleared, he turned to start running back, when he looked back. One of the soldiers stayed behind, and he was in sight of her. Oh no.
